It was a beautiful spring day. I was rowing my boat in a pond when I saw funny ripples of water. So I followed them but I couldn’t figure out what they were. I got tired of rowing the boat so I went to sleep. And then I saw the little strokes of water again so I started rowing again and again till I made it to the end of the pond. It was a scaly green SNAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got scared but I took it like a man and just got back in my boat.  By Phillip
