Alligator

It has sharp teeth and rough skin to protect it. It is not endangered anymore. It used to be. It eats fish and otter and raccoon eggs. It lives in a swamp.

American Alligator

The American Alligator lives in the southeastern part of the United States, rivers and swamps. Baby Alligators eat insects, shrimp, tadpoles and frogs. As they mature, they eat small fish and snakes. When they are almost fully-grown, their diet is made up almost entirely of fish. Adult Alligators, however, will eat almost anything. Raccoons and muskrats are quickly snapped up along with birds, freshwater turtles and snakes. Alligators hunt most of their prey in water. American Alligators were endangered but now they are not. American Alligators don't see in color. When they are underwater, they can close their eyes and nostrils. Male alligators can grow to 20 feet long. American alligators are greenish-brown on their head, lighter below and have a flat snout.

Bactrian Camel

The Bactrian camel is endangered! It eats hay and leaves. It lives on sand in the desert. It only gets a little rain. A camel can drink a very lot of water. Camels were tame by men. A camel has two rows of eyelashes. They have busy eyebrows. It has a large body and shaggy hair. Its body is tan. They are curious things. A camel has hump. The Bactrian camel has two humps.

Big Blue Whale

Hello, I am the Big Blue Whale. I am 110 feet long, weigh 260,000 pounds and can gain up to 200 pounds a day. I live in oceans and seas at all latitudes. I go to the surface to breathe water out of my blowhole. The largest animal of all time is the Big Blue Whale, which is even heavier than the greatest dinosaurs. The Big Blue Whale is blue on the top and white on the bottom. I like the big blue whale and the killer whale. The killer whale is black and white. Whales are gentle. They feed on plankton. It is a swift swimmer, capable of reaching speeds of over 25 miles per hour. Growth is extremely rapid. At two years of age a Blue Whale has already reached a length of 75 feet or 225 meters and is capable of reproducing. I am scared because I am endangered.

Bobcat

The bobcat is colored light brown with black stripes and he looks so cute.  He eats birds.  He catches rabbits, squirrels and a small deer.  He lives in the mountain forests of Europe, North America and northern Asia.   He eats birds.  He catches the birds by walking slowly.  He swims to get the crayfish.  He's a good jumper.  He is a meat eater.

Crocodiles

Long ago in Egypt the crocodile was considered holy. Sacred crocodiles were kept in captivity. Crocodilian is the name given to a group of reptiles that includes crocodiles and alligators. Crocodilians have been around for a long time. My animal eats deer, bass, and birds. It lives in southern Florida in the swamps. He looks like a dinosaur.

Dolphins

Its height is 61 inches.  Its weight is 200 lbs.  It lives in the ocean.  Its mouth looks like a long beak.  It has a white belly, grey skin and little eyes.  The dolphin eats plants and fish.  The dolphins are not endangered.

Elephant

An elephant has a big trunk. It has big ears. Its weight is 5-7-5 tons! Its height is 10-11 feet. An elephant eats an enormous amount of food everyday! The elephant lives in a very dry land with a little pond to drink out of. An elephant eats leaves and grass and drinks water with its trunk. An elephant's adaptations are its big ears and tusks. It's endangered because of its tusks. It only has 4 functional teeth 12 inches long. In each quarter of it's jaw. They can be replaced 6 times. It can breathe in water and wash with it. It is a very, very dry animal. It will hurt you only if you hurt it!

Green Tree Boa

It lives in Central America. It grows up to 7 feet 2 inches in length. It feeds on birds and has very good eye sight and heat sensors. It has very strong jaws. It lives in the steaming jungle.

Horned Lizard

The horned lizard lives in the desert. If a bird or a badger or even a human does grab a horned lizard, it may puff itself up with air and look too large and prickly to be eaten. And if this does not fool the enemy, the horned lizard has one more trick to try! It may squirt drops of blood from its eyes! The horned lizard eats bugs. The horned lizard has a lot of spikes. The horned lizard blends into the ground.

Rabbits

Rabbits live in fields and woods of the Alps, British Isles, Scandinavia, North America and Asia. Rabbits eat any kind of small plants and most of all they eat fresh green grass. Rabbits just look for green plants to find food. Rabbits camouflage with plants that are colored tan. Rabbits are not endangered. Rabbits are two feet long. Rabbits weigh 1.3 - 4 pounds. A rabbit looks kind of furry and if you had one for a pet it's warm and cozy. It has 2 ears and bright large eyes. It always eats plants. Some rabbits are very chubby, and some are skinny, some are small and some are large. A rabbit has lots of different names like rabbit, cottontail, and hare. Bobcats, tigers, lions, and other meat eaters are the rabbit's enemies.

Sea Turtle

The sea turtles are blue-green. Its shell is hard. The sea turtles have webfeet. The sea turtles have a little tail. Sometime they are green. The sea turtles are endangered. Sea turtles eat plants. They are protected by their shell. Its enemy is a crab and man. The female sea turtle lays their eggs in a deep hole and covers it on the beach.

Scorpion

The Scorpion eats & kills insects & bugs. A Scorpions home is under the dirt or in a shoe. Its' so deadly it could kill you. Its' very grumpy. Some live in you backyard. It's very deadly to us & all the insects & bugs in the world. Oh and its' not endangered. If you keep your backyard door open, it might go in. The scorpion has a deadly stinger on it's tail, claws, eight legs, small head and a body that looks like a shoe.

Spider Monkey

Its height is 15"-24". Its weight is 10-14lbs. It lives in the upper canopy of the neo-tropical forests from northeastern Mexico south to northwestern Colombia. It can change its color from gray to red to black. They have long legs and are very flexible. It uses it's tail as another arm or leg. It eats fruit, nuts, leaves, insects and occasionally eggs. The Spider Monkey is endangered.

Tiger Shark

Hi, I'm the tiger shark. I weigh 3 tons and I am 33 feet long. I live in the Pacific Ocean. You better stay away from me I am a deadly hunter and I live solitary. I get my name from my stripes. I never stop swimming because I will sink. I will eat anything I see. I have very good sense of smell. I am not an endangered animal.

Tree Boa

The Green Tree Boa lives in Columbia. Their eyes help them get food by seeing their prey and when they see the food, camouflage. When it feels the same amount of heat on the side of the head, it knows a meal is coming. The animal is not endangered. It is a meat eater. It lives in jungles and it climbs on the trees of Columbia.

Wolves

Wolves are black, white, and gray. Wolves hunt in packs. At night before the wolves howl the gray wolf make a special call. One timber wolf is the dark gray wolf. The wolf's length is 6 and a half feet. Its weight is 175 pounds. Wolves live in the forest and tundra of Asia, Eastern Europe, and North America. They eat meat like rabbits and other animals.
