Native American Cinquain

Native American children
were given names that represented special qualities regarding abilities or
personality traits. Our fourth graders made a list of their own abilities and
personality traits. Then they made up their own symbolic name and wrote a
Cinquain poem that included their name, their personality traits, and special
qualities.
