Halloween Time

One night on Halloween I went trick or treating with my friends Amanda, Jordan, Staci, Geena, Danielle and Joelle. It was dark and the wind was howling.

While we were walking on the sidewalk, I saw a haunted house. "Hey girls," I said, "Look at that house over there!" "Let's go inside," said Amanda. "I don't think that's a good idea," said Joelle and Danielle. "Well, that's OK you can stay outside and watch in case someone or something comes." "No, that's OK, we'll come," they said.

We went up the stairs. The stairs cracked! The door creaked! The door shut behind us. It was dark, "Great! We have our flashlights."

We saw a closet and it was full of dark things. They were hanging up. Suddenly, bats flew over our heads. We were screaming! We ran down the stairs and we heard music in the living room. We went through the window and went around the front where the living room was. There was nothing in there. We were scared. We ran to the sidewalk and went home. We never came back to that house again. Staci said there must have been ghosts in that house. We all agreed.
