Going to Grandmas
Pre-K students have been busy working on a science seasonal theme, "fall." We are reading many books about leaves, apples, and pumpkins. We have taken a trip over to Hudson Pines to pick apples and later this month we will take another trip to Outhouse Orchard to pick our own pumpkins. We are noticing that the trees are starting to change colors and that the weather is getting cooler. After discussing the many things that we can see in the fall the children illustrated their own pictures of what they saw when they closed their eyes and imagined a fall day. Enjoy both the pictures and their ideas relating to the fall season.
