New Brunswick

Hi, we just left Nova Scotia it was amazing and we're off to visit New Brunswick. On our way to New Brunswick, we saw millions of trees and flowers and animals. The first city we are going to is Moncton. Moncton has almost 60,000 people. It is one of the province's largest cities. We stopped at the Moncton Museum. They gave us a guided tour of the city. Then we headed for some fun at Magic Mountain Water Park. That was cool! The water slides were really fast. We visited Magnetic Hill where our bus rolled uphill. That was crazy! (It's really an optical illusion.) We stopped at the Magnetic Hill Zoo and saw wildlife from five continents.

Then we are headed to Saint John. We went to the City of Saint John Gallery. There they had our favorite piece of art. Guess what? New Brunswick became a separate colony in 1784 and it is the 10th biggest province in Canada. New Brunswick is rank in 8th for population. The bird is the Black-capped Chickadee, the tree is the Balsam, and the flower is Purple Violet. Reversing Falls were amazing, the tide can rise up to 55 feet! Did you know that New Brunswick became a province in July 1, 1867?

From St John we traveled to Fredericton, the capital of New Brunswick. There, we went to The UNB Art Centre. Then, we went to the NB Power Electricity Museums. It was great! I never knew so much about Electricity. It was nice leaning about Fredericton and New Brunswick at the York-Sunbury Historical Society Museum. Did you know that 1/3 of New Brunswick is covered in forest?

Then we headed off to The Mount Carleton Provincial Park for a tour. We saw a lot of animals and had lunch. We saw two lakes in the park, Lake Nictau and Lake Nepisiguit. We saw Mount Carleton. On the mountain there are camping grounds, hiking trails, picnicking, boating, boat ramps, fishing, and you can swim. In winter there are lots of sports too. Then we headed to the Kouchibouguac National Park. There we went to the warm sand beaches. We enjoyed a visit to a dune; we saw salt marshes, meadows and forests. In the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame we saw Olympic medals, sports heroes, and teams. After that, we went to the Chocolate Musem in St. Stephen. It was amazing when we saw everything in chocolate! There is even a chocolate walk were you see a lot of chocolate stuff like a chocolate box! Also, at the gift shop, they had all sorts of chocolate! We had stomachaches for three days! Boy, it was best chocolate in the world! It tasted so sweet and pure that you would want to eat the everything in the place. We even tried all different kinds of chocolate like white and dark and our personal favorite, milk chocolate. Then we decided to fly to New York. We had a blast in New Brunswick. We hope we can come here again someday!
