Chapter 10

When I woke up I brushed my teeth and looked for my mom Sarah but I could not find her. I woke up Caleb and my Dad so they would help me find Sarah but they could not find Sarah either. We checked town but she wasn't in any of the stores. But then when we were about give up Caleb saw her with another man, and that man was sticking a gun in her face! That gun was about to shoot.
"What were me, Caleb, and dad going to do" I thought? Then I got an idea! Dad and Caleb would distract the person who was kidnapping Sarah and I would rescue Sarah. I told the plan to Caleb and Dad fast and they liked it. The plan worked and we saved Sarah, but we had to catch that bad person who kidnapped Sarah. We chased him but he was too fast for me and Caleb. So me and Caleb gave up. Dad and Sarah were about to but the bad guy tripped and we caught him. The bad guy was… William!
"Why did you try to kidnap me"? Sarah said to William in a sharp voice? Because I wanted you to live with me, Molly died (Molly is William's old wife). Why didn't you ask to live with us? We would welcome you here. I thought you would not let me live here, I'm very sorry. There's an extra bedroom you can sleep there. Just never ever do anything like that again. O.K.? O.K."
