I like going to Maine to see my cousins Samantha, Spencer and Sawyer. Where my Uncle Bobby lives the land is very flat. He lives in Steep Falls. The town is named Steep Falls because there is a waterfall in the Saco River which flows through their town. I don’t know why they call it Steep Falls because the falls are only about 5 feet high. I think they should name it Little Falls. There's a place at the river where we like to go swimming. The water is very calm at this spot.

Maine has a lot of lakes and ponds. I’ve been to one lake and one pond. The lakes and ponds here have sandy bottoms so it’s like you are swimming in the ocean except the water is not salty. My favorite swimming place is Old Orchard Beach because it is very big and nice. When the tide comes in there are big waves. I like when the tide goes out because I like to make sand castles.

When we are in Maine, we go to the sea dogs game. I like to eat their popcorn. The stadium smells like popcorn, hot dogs, and cotton candy. The noise can be loud especially when the team hits the ball. They like to play music in between innings. Sometimes the team mascot, Slugger, likes to dance on top of the dugout. This really gets the crowd yelling this year, when we went to the game it was raining very hard. It was so loud it was like giant popcorn was being popped.

Our favorite restaurant is the Clam Bake. They have all kinds of seafood there. My favorite foods are fried clams, popcorn shrimp, and chicken fingers. We like to go out and feed the seagulls outside. There are a lot of seagulls hanging around and they make a lot of noise when we feed them.
