The Model T was a very important car in American history. Ford Motor Company made the Model T a very productive car and very popular. Ford Motor Company sold over 15,007,003 Model Ts. That’s very impressive!

Henry Ford was born on July 30, 1863 on a farm in Michigan. Henry Ford’s first automobile was a Quadricycle. A Quadricycle is a four-wheeled man powered land vehicle. Henry Ford then created the Model T in 1803.

The Mass production of the Model T is very interesting. The Model T was mostly made out of wooden parts. Also, the Model T’s steering was on the left side and soon other companies followed. The Model T was an automobile with a 2.9 liter, 4 cylinder engine and produced by the Ford Motor Company from 1909 through 1927. Henry Ford was chiefly responsible for their general adoption.

In the period from 1937 to 1941, the Ford Motor Company became the only major manufactured automobile.

The Ford Motor Company was taken to court by its employees. At hearings before the National Labor Relations Board, Ford was found guilty of repeated violations of the National Labor Relations Act. The act is to outlaw unfair labor practices by employers. Ford was constrained to negotiate a standard labor contract after a successful strike by the workers at his main plant in River Rouge, Michigan, in April 1941.

Now you know how important the Model T was in American History. The Ford Motor Company was one of the most important automobile producers in the Country.
