 Dear Mom and Dad,

How are you? I'm fine. I'm really enjoying Belize. I've done a lot of research. The first thing I looked up was the climate. I found out that Belize is very tropical, hot and humid. One season in Belize is the rain season, which is from May to February. Belize is practically 1 big tropical rain forest.

Three good things about Belize are 1. The people speak English so now you don't need to learn a new language. 2. You can choose your religion. 3. They have most of the same customs.

Two of the things I want to do are visit the Belize zoo and go scuba diving in the Caribbean Sea. The entire eastern side of Belize is bordered by the Caribbean Sea so if were going to go scuba diving it would be nice to live on the eastern side of Belize so we are close to the water.

The most common type of land found in Belize is forest and woodland which is 44% of the country. In Belize there are a lot of different animals, some dangerous and some are not. Some animals that we should watch out for are Jaguars, crocodile, and boa constrictors. They are very vicious animals and they will do anything for food.

Mom, some of the foods here are not the best in my opinion. They cook very differently here. You might want to bring some of your own food in case you do not like the Belizeian food. I'm sure if you stay here long enough you will get used to it.

You will have to get used to the climate it is very hot and humid here. The temperature is about 79 F by the breezy Caribbean Sea. When you pack all of your clothes, you might want to buy some tank tops and other types of clothes. Well, that’s all, see you when you get here.

Love ya,
Brittany M.
