Dear Mom, Dad and Jess,

Since we are moving to Bogotá, Colombia I went on a little trip. I brought home pictures and a lot of information

Well, we have to get lots of shots for diseases. The most common is travelers' diarrhea. Some diseases are traveled by insects; contaminated food and water or infected people close contacted with healthy people. Malaria, Dengue fever, and Yellow fever are three frequent diseases. Even though we love animals, Rabies is found in most stray animals.

We could still keep our religion as Roman Catholic's, 95% Colombians are Roman Catholics. We would have to change our languages. There are 40 different languages Indians languages died out many years a go.

Money is called individually a peso. In American dollars a peso is one thousandth.

Jessica unfortunately only men can play soccer / Fútbol. They won the World Cup in 1994. Cycle racing, swimming, track, volleyball, basketball, bullfights, tennis and golf are also played there.

One more thing I would like to tell you, is when we can eat. Breakfast- they usually eat juice, coffee, or hot chocolate; fruit, eggs, and bread are also served. There is also a primary breakfast. Lunch is served at 2:00pm (lunch is the main meal). Schools close and jobs stop for the meal. Soup, rice, meat, potatoes, salad, and beans. Supper is served at 7:00-8:00 the same foods are served as lunch.

Your Daughter,

Kassie

I love you all!
