Tropcsun.wmf (26164 bytes)Dear Mom and Dad,

I looked for information on Belize so we have a comfortable year there. You and daddy should bring your visa card because that card is used a lot in Belize. You are aloud to bring shorts, pants, T-shirts, hats, sweatshirts, sweat pants, and socks and any other clothes you need to bring. They do have some food you might like. They have fish, meat, cheese, and macaroni. The different kinds of food I don't think you would like are caviar, snail, and maybe even lamb. There are some sights to see while we are down there. We can go see Belize City, Corozal, and Orange Walk. They speak Spanish, English, and Indian dialects. Just like New York, Belize has health problems to the flu, chicken pots. The land is not very big and there are not a lot of cities. The climate of Belize is subtropical, moderated by sea breezes along the coast. The northern half of Belize consists of lowlands, large areas of which are swampy. The southern half of Belize is dominated by mountain ranges, notably the Maya Mountains, which rise to the elevation of 3,681feet atop Victoria Peak. The population of Belize is 160,000 and that is only an estimate. Almost all the Spanish-speaking population, including the Maya, is catholic. I hope you know all the things you need to know to live a comfortable year in Belize.

Love,

Dominique
