Hi Mom, Dad, and Scott,

I miss you all very much and I am visiting new sites and meeting new people. So far I have been enjoying the country of Colombia. In Colombia you will learn many new ways of how people live like cooking and what their culture is like. Dad you will love the strong, creamy coffee here. Mom you will love the styles of shoes they manufacture here they make many different sizes for different feet. And Scott you will love the food they make here, it is so nutritious but still tastes delicious.

When you come here you should remember a few facts about manners here. When you go to a restaurant you have remember to not eat too much food. People will think less of you because it is rude. Also you should not use a toothpick because not many people use them and it is also rude.

There are many beautiful places to visit. It is one of the largest cities in Colombia. If you want to see an exiting concert or a wonderful opera than you should visit the Colón Theater. The Colón Theater is one of the most popular theaters in Colombia. Or if you want to visit some cities you could visit Medellin City. That is one of the largest cities in Colombia. So make sure you get out and visit these great sights soon!

Colombia makes many products like food, chemicals, and everyday utensils. It is good that Colombia manufactures many items because Colombia's main crop is coffee which dad I know you love and you may want job making it. Don't think coffee is the only thing here they also make plastic textiles here. Also gold and petroleum is Colombia's number one restores. In Colombia you will never run out of items especially coffee.

There is a lot of land in Colombia. The capital of Colombia is called Bogota (the people there were so grateful to me!). Medelli'n is also a wonderful place to visit. It is one of the biggest cities in Colombia. Did you know Colombia is as big as Texas and California put together! There is so much to see and so little time.

Mom, Dad, don't worry about us losing our religion by not go to church every Sunday. Actually, Colombia has almost as many holidays as we do and maybe a little more. In fact, on Christmas the nine days before Christmas Eve people celebrate by having parties and going to church. So don't forget that it is my birthday a few days after you come here. (Hint, Hint)

When you come here you should know what type of clothing you should wear. It is about 80° year round so you should pack shorts, sunscreen, and a few hats. The climate is great for farming so maybe we could have a vegetable garden. The climate is fantastic and you will never be cold again.

That's it, I hope you will all love Colombia as much I do. See you soon!

Love,
Carolyn
