One day on the tip of the Florida Everglades, Mr. and Mrs. Cougar were resting on a big oak tree outside their dim, cold, damp den. One sunny afternoon, Mrs. Cougar gave birth to a baby boy and named it Billy. Billy has tanish brown color fur and dark, hazel eyes. Once Billy was old enough to go hunting, Mr. Cougar taught him everything he knew about hunting deer and antelope.

After that Mrs. Cougar taught Billy how to cook and clean the food they hunted. Billy really loved to cook and hunt.

One warm sunny afternoon Billy was out hunting and catching his lunch, witch consisted of antelope, deer, fruit and water from the water hole. When he heard a very strange noise. Billy was interested in this sound; it sounded like a truck starting up, so he went over to explore the loud noise. He saw two big strong men with chain saws. Billy was excited and wanted to get closer to the noise. Then when he was he younger he remembered his dad saying "don’t go near people with chainsaws, they can hurt you." Billy ran as fast as he could back home to tell his dad and mom. Once dad found out he moved out as fast as they could, to another part of Florida.
