One day in the northern Arctic, 8 year-old polar bear, PJ, was out catching pink salmon for lunch. Just like most animals, PJ doesn’t like being disturbed while he is eating because it annoyed him to leave his food.

When Eddie Eskimo whacked PJ with a stick, PJ didn’t like it a bit. But instead of fighting, PJ went to the Old Wise One. The Old Wise one is 36 years old. That is older than the average polar bear lives to be. She told PJ that his older brother Pikachu has a birthmark exactly like his. It’s right next to his eye and looks like rugged blades of a sword and PJ’s size is much bigger than Eddie’s and would scare Eddie off very easily. So PJ began making his plan. Pikachu is now 13 and on a hunting trip.

The next day PJ sat where he usually sat to catch his favorite food. So a few minutes later Eddie came creeping out from behind a glacier. He set up getting ready to chuck his stick, but suddenly PJ jumped up, snarled roared and showed his teeth and birthmark and started chasing Eddie. Of course would never hurt him. Finally he let him go.

The next day the Eskimo family decided to move to a different part of the Arctic where they would meet the hunting party. About 2 hours later, Eddie started complaining that he was hungry. So father took out his net and spear gun and started looking for a seal or polar bear, because he too was hungry. He spotted a polar bear den, the den that PJ’s family was in! Mr. Eskimo got ready to shoot his gun when suddenly he tripped and fell! When he fell the gun went off and fired! The spear hit the den and the den collapsed on the polar bears!

The Eskimo family ran away in fear that they would be eaten. About 3 minutes later, Pikachu came out and started calling for his father. PJ and his mother heard the call and rushed to where Pikachu was. They asked him what happened and where Father was. Pikachu pointed to the pile of ice and snow.
