Chris, after the close encounter, went to Ryan's house due to the fact he didn't eat the monkey. Ryan was very pleased because he didn't eat lunch either. Chris and Ryan we're climbing trees, running and jumping along as they entered the deep forest.

While they were hunting, Ryan saw a poacher. He warned Chris, but it was too late. Chris was caught in a net and was getting dragged away by… John! Ryan chased John, but there we're other poachers guarding them. Suddenly, John's fellow poachers knocked Ryan out!

The poachers were taking Chris somewhere secret because he didn't recognize the path. When they arrived at the camp, Chris was surprised. Other poacher camps had many furs. Chris was very happy because there wasn't a single fur and that meant they weren't successful poachers. However, Chris saw a cage! John suddenly, hoisted Chris and brought him to the cage. Chris was extremely light, but John had trouble.

Chris was pretty scared now due to the fact John was sharpening a long knife. Chris suspected John was going to remove his $150 skin.

Chris was sweating now. The branch he was trying to reach seemed like it was a mile away.

John was reaching back to get the knife now. The front of the knife was about 1 inch away from Chris's head when Ryan knocked the cage over. Chris couldn't believe the power Ryan had. He was so strong, that the cage broke! Chris was so happy that Ryan saved him. However, the chase was not over yet. John's fellow poachers were chasing them now. Chris and Ryan had to use their tree climbing skills now, the poachers were pretty fast! Chris and Ryan were too fast though.

Today Chris and Ryan still stand as best friends and as members of the Big Cat. Even though Chris the Clouded Leopard and Ryan the Jaguar escaped, they are endangered animals.
