In southwest Texas
there lived a red wolf named Buddy Kins. He lived in a particularly small dirt
den, but was always neat. He lived with his dad since a hunter shot his mother.
Buddy was a shaggy coat, large eared and bushy tailed-small wolf. He was the
adventurous type. Buddy's old home destroyed by workers so they looking for a
new one .Then they found great den located near a swamp. Once they were settled
in, Buddy asked if he could go explore.
"Sure", said his dad. When he was exploring he got thirsty. So he went to the water hole. When he was drinking he felt strange, like he was being watched. Then all of a sudden BOOM! Something red-hot skimmed Buddy's Fur. He ran all the way home. When he came home, he showed his wound to his dad and tried to rest. For dinner he had a large rabbit and two rats. When they made their escape, they traveled to a non-populated area in the south. His father and he stayed there until Buddy's father died. After his father died, Buddy moved to a more populated area where other red wolves roamed. Buddy lived to a bold age of 14, but was always haunted by the day he was almost killed.
