3K is ____ and ____ We read "Sarah, Plain and Tall" by Patricia Maclachan. When Sarah wrote a letter to the Witting family, who lived far away on the prairie, she described herself as "plain and tall." We each wrote short essays using two adjectives to describe ourselves.
Amanda, Cheerful and Fast I read some books at home and write too. The thing I like is spelling. I don't like my cat. He does not like me when I carry him. I like a dog. I love dogs. I want a dog. My friends scream at me a lot of times when they come to play with me outside. We run outside the house.
Amanda, Fast and Sporty I live in a big house. I have two brothers, one is four years old. My other brother is twelve years old. I am eight years old and in 3rd grade. My favorite sports are swimming and basketball. I like them both the same. I swim in the winter at the YWCA on a swim team. We have lots of swim meets. In the summer I swim at Pocantico. They have a swim team, too.
Alberto, Wise and Swift Hi! My name is Alberto. I am 8 ½ years old. I live in New York. I weigh 72 pounds and I am 4 feet tall and my favorite sport is baseball and football. I like to draw and read animal stories. My sister's name is Luisana and my cat's name is Chocolate or Cocoa.
Bhavya, Lucky and Intelligent My name is Bhavya. I'm lucky because I have a little brother who is 2 years younger than I. I've been to the 100th Olympics in Atlanta. I'm intelligent because I learn Indian dance, swimming, piano and Indian singing. I'm good at spelling and I love to learn about history. I found out that I love biographies and chapter books. I was born Aug. 23, 1989. I love to read especially long books. I have no pets but I'd love to have a dog. My best friend is Cathy. She is Chinese and I'm Indian. She's the same age as I and she is very nice. I love baby-sitters Club books as well as mysteries. I want to be an astronomer when I grow up. I love hugs.
Brett, Plain and Short My name is Brett. I am not pretty or ugly. I am short, around 4'5". I have 2 brothers, a dog, 3 cats, a turtle, and a horse. I have brown hair and brown eyes. I live in a house in Briarcliff. I go to the best school in the world, Pocantico Hills. My best friends are Kyle, Michael, Chris and Danny. My teacher is very nice. Her name is Mrs. Klaameyer. She is the best teacher in the world.
Carina, Fast and Kind I live in a 2 level building with my 5 year old brother and my mom. I am in 3rd grade and I'm 8 years old. I have a cat whose name is Emily. I love to play sports like swimming, basketball, and baseball. I can do all these things fast. I can swim fast. I can dribble the ball quickly and I can zoom on the bases. Sometimes I buy my brother a snack and he says to me, "Thank you Carina, you are kind to me."
Cathy, Bright and Cheerful I live in an apartment building with my mom and dad. I have no brothers or sisters. I love to draw, sing, make crafts, and read. I like to read mysteries and adventure. My favorite rose and my favorite animals are dogs. I wish I could have a dog but where I live you aren't allowed to have pets like dogs or cats. One day my mom will graduate from the Medical College and we will move and then I can get a dog. I am in the third grade in Mrs. Klaameyer and she is very smart and nice.
Ginna, Smart and Fast "Hi!" I am Ginna. I do well in school and I get decent grades, too. I am very fast in running and swimming. In fact I am on a swim team. I also enjoy reading and writing in my journal I have at home. Oh, I almost forgot. I love playing board games and having fun with my dog Miller!
Jason, Funny and Intelligent Hi, I am Jason and I would like to talk about myself. I live in Elmsford. I love to say funny jokes and I make my friends laugh sometimes. I'm really good at homework. I like to do math, too. I like addition the best. I'm getting really interested in division and multiplication. I hate to regroup with subtraction.
Kyle, Fast and Strong Hi I'm Kyle. I'm 8 years old and I'm 4 feet and 3inches and I weigh 60 pounds. I have many friends. As you see on the top of the paper I'm fast and strong. I'm fast because I once one a race. I'm strong because I can lift things that weigh more than me and I like to go to Arcades and I don't like homework. I never did like homework and I never will. Sometimes my sisters can be such pests. Especially when I'm doing the thing I hate most homework! My parents are nice and help me with my homework so they're helpful. Well that's about me.
Tanya, Smart and Friendly I am 8 years old. My birthday is November 6th. I like read, write and draw. I do good work in school because, I'm smart. I have a lot of friends because I'm friendly. I have three cats. I play with them and, sometimes watch television. I have 1sister and two brothers. I live in a two family house. Two staircases separate are homes. My favorite foods are pasta and salad.
Vineet, Intelligent and Cool I like to play tennis, basketball and baseball. When I grow up I want to be a rap singer or be in a singing group. I come from New Delhi in India. I have a younger brother. I'm going to get a pet, snake, lizard, or talking parrot. I'm good at math, spelling and sometimes grammar.
