A First Grade Snowy Day by the first grade classes at Pocantico Hills School Sleepy Hollow, NY

We love to play in the snow. Not everyone has snow in the places they live, but we do! One Saturday morning in December, 2000 we woke to find about 4 inches of snow covering the ground here in New York where we live. It continued to snow until there was more than a foot (that's 12 inches) of snow.  Many of us had a chance to have a lot of fun in the snow. We wrote a little story book after reading The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats. We hope you like our story.
