Humpback Whales

Humpbacks are found in all the world’s oceans. It eats between 2,000 and 9,000 pounds of krill a day. It likes herring and mackerel. One of the largest animals in the world is a baby humpback. A baby humpback is as big as a car. The mother humpback is more than three times as big as a car. The mother humpback feeds her baby. The baby drinks a lot of milk. It drinks as much as 800 glasses of milk every day. Humpbacks mouths are filled with long strips called baleen. Its mouth is so big it also eats small fishes and tiny shrimps.
