Great White Shark
By Carson

The great white shark lives in the ocean near the shore. He lives along most of the coast lines around the world. They live where it isn’t too hot or too cold. They eat seals, fish, rays and other sharks. They also eat dead animals that float in the water. They don’t chew their food. Their teeth rip the food into smaller pieces and then they swallow it whole. They move by swishing their tails. They are propelled through the water by their powerful tails. People have hunted great white sharks for years so the number of great whites is much less. Its color helps it because he is gray to blue on top and white on his underneath. This camouflage helps it approach its prey without them seeing him.
