The Blue Whale
The blue whale is the biggest whale in the world. Whales are warm blooded animals like people and dogs and cats and elephants. Sometimes they can be one hundred feet long and weigh more than 200 tons. It eats tiny shrimp like animals called krill and sometimes it eats plankton. Their teeth look like hay and their color is blue. It swims in the ocean. When they need to breathe they use their blow hole and they spray water out of their blow hole and then they keep on swimming. I went to a real aquarium and I saw a real orca whale and girls were riding on it. The blue whale is the loudest animal on earth, even louder than a jet plane. Their blow stream rises forty to fifty feet above the surface of the water. These blue Whales are found worldwide living near the surface of the ocean in small groups called pods.
