Sobrero Markfgraf
plays soccer for the U.S. National Team. She was born in
Michigan in 1976. She attended Notre Dame where she studied science
and business. Then her life changed when she joined the U.S. soccer
team in 1998. She played defender in the back of the field. She got
married on
October 31, 2003 to another soccer player named Chris Markgraf. Her achievements
were she won a gold medal in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, she got a bronze medal
at the 2007 World Cup, and she got a gold medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics, she
got a sliver medal in 2000 Olympics in Sydney. At Notre Dame, her team won the NCAA
Championship in 1995,
she was a three time All American, and defensive player of the
year in 1997.
Markgraf lives with her husband and their three
children in the Chicago area. She plays for the Chicago Red Stars.
