We've been reading Charlotte's Web and learning all about life on a farm. As we read, we noticed how E.B. White often used very detailed and interesting lists to describe scenes and settings like the barn, the dump and the County Fair. After reading examples of "list poems" by other second graders, we decided to write our own. We had fun listing words and phrases that described some of the characters and sights and sounds on the farm and at the fair. We hope you enjoy our poems!
