Save Our Sharks

We learned so much about sharks after reading the Time For Kids article, "Sharks" in our anthology. Did you know that some species of sharks are in danger of dying out? People have been hunting sharks for many years to use their meat for food and their skin for belts and shoes. We decided that sharks are too important to the food chain so we designed posters to help keep sharks from becoming extinct! According to the article they have more to fear from us than we do from them! It was hard work making these web pages for you to visit. We used three different programs to make them. First we used Microsoft Paint to draw the picture for our poster, then we inserted our picture into a Print Shop file and added headlines to make a poster. We printed the posters to our large poster printer, they came out great! Then we typed our stories in MS Word. Finally, Mrs. Hongell used Front Page to put all the parts together and posted them online. We hope you enjoy our posters and our writing.
