Dear Community Member,

Welcome to spring! During these next few months  there are many events and opportunities that facilitate connections with our schools.  In April, we celebrate a number of wonderful activities including the BRS K-4 Story and PJ Night, on April 4  from 6:30 - 8:30, the MS Parent University on Wednesday evening April 16, the MS grades 5 and 6 Play held in the MS Multipurpose Room on April 11 and 12,   the MS Talent Show on April 17 and the HS Talent Show held on April 10 at 7PM in the Auditorium.   We also a have number of important organizational meeting scheduled for this month including PTA, Parent Council, SEPTA, Fund for Learning, FOVA and PIA.  Please check the district calendar for details.

April is also the month for our Spring/Passover Recess - schools will be closed Monday, April 21 to Friday April 25.  We anticipate that we will also be closed on Friday, April 18 due to the fact that we have three unused emergency closing days remaining in our calendar. Hopefully the harsh weather is behind us and we can all take full advantage of the nice weather.  The other unused days will be added as days off from school as follows: Tuesday, May 27 and Wednesday, May 28.

During the months of April and May there are also a number of important Board of Education Meetings.  Please join us on the following Tuesday nights at 7:30 in the HS Media Center:

bulletApril 8
bulletApril 29
bulletMay 6 -   District Budget Hearing and Board of Education Meeting)
bulletMay 20 - this is also the date of the Annual Budget Vote

We encourage all community members to get involved, ask questions and participate!

Regards,

Dr. Antonecchia
