GUIDELINES FOR STUDENT BEHAVIOR
|
|
All
student responsibilities described in this section apply to expected
behavior at school social events and all consequences for violations of
these responsibilities are in force as well. |
| |
 | Smoking is not
permitted in the auditorium, gymnasium, parking lots, or anywhere on
campus. Violators will be asked to leave.
|
 | Evidence of drugs
or alcohol will be immediately reported to the faculty advisor and/or
security personnel who will call the student's parents and file a report
with the school administration and, if necessary, the police.
|
 | Students who are
obviously intoxicated or under the influence of a drug will not be allowed
to enter the social event. If already admitted, the chaperone will notify
the parents who will then be required to come and pick up their student
and escort him/her home.
|
 | Students exhibiting
disruptive behavior will be asked to leave school property. In the case of
any violation, the chaperone may notify not only the faculty advisor, but
also the police, if necessary.
|
 | Remember, all
school rules of conduct apply to athletic contests on or off campus.
Unacceptable behavior will result in removal from the event. |
|
|
While
the student is on suspension, he or she may not be on campus or participate
in any school-sponsored activity as a member of the activity or as a fan
(observer). |
