Objectives:
 | To strengthen skills identified as deficit areas on the students IEP using either mainstream curriculum materials or additional materials addressing specific deficits. |
| Teach students successful strategies to become more confident and independent in their mainstream classes. |
| To act as a liaison for students, parents, teachers and administrative personnel. |
| Monitor students’ progress and make recommendations as needed in academic areas, followed up with discussion on any potential problems. |
| To provide testing and assessment information on students as needed. |
Classroom Expectations:
| Students are expected to show respect toward the teacher and their peers. |
| Students are to be punctual and prepared with necessary materials. |
| Students are expected to work independently and ask for assistance when needed. |

| Homework assignment pad |
| Blue or black pen or pencil |
| Academic books |
| Subject notebooks or special materials |
Grading:
This is a Pass/Fail course where student will receive a P or F.
Teacher Availability:
I am available during my preps, activity periods, lunch and after school for assistance when needed.
