Seventh Grade Team Teachers
Dear Parents:
Welcome to the school year! We are anticipating a productive and successful school year. We have developed some guidelines and policies in order to facilitate a pleasant and smooth transition for all seventh graders. Our team policies are listed below.
* Homework assignments are expected to be complete and brought to class
when they are due. Students will not be allowed to go back to their lockers
to retrieve their assignments or any other materials. Three (3) missing
homework assignments will result in a referral and detention. Homework
will be graded according to each individual teacher.
* Promptness to class is expected. Students who are late to class, without
a pass, will be asked to sign in. The team will monitor all latenesses.
More than 3 "lates" from any class will result in a referral, detention and
individual team conference with the student.
* Bathroom and water fountain visits are permitted but will be monitored
closely for abuse.
We, the seventh grade team, are planning activities in home base that foster character development. These activities will be based on topics related to responsibility, empathy and tolerance. In addition, we have numerous field trips planned to enhance the curriculum.
