The Pearl River School District is located in Rockland County, New York, approximately 20 miles north of New York City on the west side of the Hudson River adjacent to the New Jersey state border. The district educates students in grades kindergarten through twelve who reside within district boundaries under the auspices of the New York State Education Department.

District Boundaries: 
The Pearl River School District covers most of the hamlet of Pearl River and portions of Orangeburg, West Nyack, Nanuet, and Tappan. A complete listing of streets, together with their respective elementary school boundaries, is available under So You Want to Move to Pearl River. Only children residing within the district boundaries are eligible for enrollment into the Pearl River School District. Out-of-district residents are not accepted on a tuition basis. Because district lines cross over into other towns, we strongly advise checking with the district to confirm your address before purchasing a home or enrolling your student.
