LHRIC provides warranty Parts only (Not Labor) repair service
on Apple Desktop and portable computers including the iMac, G4 systems,
iBook and PowerBook computers. Customers MUST provide proof of warranty
(invoice or Apple care contract) when requesting warranty service.
- LHRIC will perform onsite warranty for Apple Desktop systems
and peripherals and although there is no cost for parts, actual
labor cost will apply for warranty repair. To obtain warranty
repair at no cost, customers need to bring their equipment to
a local authorized Apple warranty provider. Apple does not
provide labor reimbursement to the LHRIC.
- Portable Apple computers, including the iBook and PowerBook
systems must be returned to Apple for warranty repair.
- LHRIC applies a labor charge of 1.5 hours to expedite the warranty
repair of portable Apple products or to perform onsite diagnostics
on portable systems, including portable systems covered under
the Apple Care extended warranties.
- Apple extended warranties are available on all Apple products.
Customers are advised to purchase the extended warranty on all
Apple portable at the time of purchase.

The following are not covered by the manufacturers
warranty:
- software support
- transportation and or return of equipment to the manufacturer
- customer care center consultation
- data backup and restore during the replacement of a hard drive
(except for customers who contract Network support)
- user errors
- configuration errors
- operating system errors or device driver errors
- vandalism or virus generated failures
- consumable products including toner and ink cartridges and batteries.
