Your son/daughter _________________________ is a member of the Project Adventure Elective program at the Mahopac Middle School. As part of his/her activities, we have planned a day of Technical Rock Climbing at the St. John's Ledges in Kent, Conn. on ______________.
AGENDA FOR THE DAY:
Depart M.M.S. --- 8:00 A.M.
Arrive at site --- 9:00 A.M.
Depart site --- 5:00 P.M.
Arrive M.M.S. --- 6:00 P.M.
Each student will be expected to bring his/her own lunch.
PLEASE - NO GLASS CONTAINERS, NO CHEWING GUM, and NO CANDY!
ALSO - NO ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT will be permitted (radio, etc.)
RECOMMENDED GEAR FOR THE DAY:
1) Layers for weather/rain gear
2) Long, baggy pants
3) Sturdy sneakers or hiking boots
4) Insect repellent (with DEET)
5) Cap
6) Cameras are encouraged
If you have any questions about this trip, or another Project Adventure activity, please feel free to contact us any time. Remember to sign the permission slip and field trip information slip and return them via your son/ daughter to his/her Project Adventure instructor.
