Mahopac Falls Elementary
School believes that the skills necessary to prosper in our continuously changing
world need to be cultivated at the earliest age. The Mahopac Falls Elementary
School community pledges to exhaust all avenues to empower our children with
the knowledge, attitude and interpersonal skills necessary to excel in the
new millennium.
To achieve this mission, we have set
these priorities:
To ensure a nurturing environment, which
will encourage independent thinking, individual creativity, and decision
making skills.
To teach children by example, the importance
of self-respect, respect for the rights and beliefs of others, the need
to cooperate in social settings, and to take responsibility for their actions.
To nurture high self-esteem in every
child.
To recognize, develop and value, the
individuality, creativity, and unique talents of each child.
To maintain communication and cooperation
between the Mahopac Falls Elementary School staff and parents in all areas
of the Kindergarten experience.
To continue to provide students with
a solid foundation in the area of literacy development.
