Dear
Parents,
The
second half of the year is well under way.
The growth the children have made since September is notably significant.
Not only have they grown in physical stature (an accomplishment I never
achieved) but their academic and social progress has been tremendous as well!
I
would like to commend the collaborative working relationship you have developed
with your child’s teacher. The
impact our teachers make is only enhanced by your active involvement and
on-going support.
As
we all anxiously await the arrival of spring, we will continue to prepare your
child for the demands of first grade. I
encourage your participation in our monthly Family Reading Nights, and
your attendance at my evening workshops for parents. These workshops are dedicated to providing busy parents with
strategies and activities they can work on at home to promote literacy
development. The feedback from
these workshops has been extremely positive.
As
always, if you have any questions feel free to call or stop in for a visit.
