Memorial Scholarship Fund Grant Application
Philosophy Statement
The intent of the Memorial Scholarship Fund is to provide an annual stipend in the amount of $1,000 to assist a student planning a career in the field of instructional technology. The fund is intended for students enrolled in a graduate or under-graduate program leading to a degree or certification. Only students enrolled in colleges in the State of New York are eligible to apply. The money is non-designated; it may be used for tuition, fees, book, research projects or other expenses. There is no obligation to pay back the stipend but, as with funds of this type, a contribution once the recipients' career is in progress assures the continuation of the Memorial Scholarship Fund to assist others. Preference will be given to those students able to demonstrate need, scholarship, and a desire to conduct their professional life in New York State.
