I grew up in Hastings and attended Hastings schools. I graduated
from HHS in 1980. I attended Albany State University and graduated
in 1984 with a B.S. in Bio/Chem. I received my graduate degree in
1986 from Manhattanville College with a M.A.T in Secondary Science
Education. During this time I returned to Hastings as a substitute
teacher and an assistant football coach.

I started my teaching career at Msgr. Scanlan HS in the Bronx. I taught high school
science there for five years. During this time I was appointed
Varsity Softball Coach in 1987 and Head Football Coach in 1988. In
1990 I was happy to accept a position as a Middle School Science
Teacher at Farragut Middle School.

It has been fun and rewarding
working where I went to school. I have had the opportunity to teach
with former teachers and to teach children of friends. I enjoy
coming to school everyday and look forward t many more years of
teaching and coaching at Hastings.
