Hi, I'm Mr. Sandhop. This is my thirteenth year teaching middle
school science. I started my  career working for District 10 in
the Bronx in September 1992. In February 1998, I became a teacher
in Hastings. I have always enjoyed teaching middle school
students. I feel they all have a lot of enthusiasm and energy.
Besides teaching science, I am the middle school boys soccer coach
and during the winter season, you can find me at the scorers table
for our Hastings basketball teams.
I have earned a B.S. in Science Education from Concordia College
and a Masters Degree in Secondary Sciences from Lehman College in
the Bronx.
My hobbies include skiing, scuba diving, swimming, and exercise.
A goal I have set for myself is to run the New York City Marathon
and climb Mt. Kilimanjaro.
