Paralleling the social studies curriculum, we read myths from different cultures. Through the ongoing mythology curriculum students expand their understanding of the cultures and time periods of the stories themselves and gain better understanding of their own lives. |
| POETRY In the spring students will read, write, and listen to poetry from a variety of poets on a multitude of topics. They will learn about different forms of poetry and different literary elements frequently found in poems. Check out some of the links below for some great poems! Have fun! |
