What is a list of works cited?

  • lists each source used
  • appears at end of paper
  • assumes specific format

Arrangement of citations is:

  • alphabetical order by author's last name (or by the first word of the title if no author is given.)
  • first lines of entries flush left, any additional lines indented 5 spaces.

NOTE: For each type of source, the citation format may change.

Do not bullet or number citations!
