Student Council News

The Anne Hutchinson Student Council is comprised of 5th grade students who are responsible and positive role models for all students.

This year, Student Council will conduct ongoing fundraisers through a variety of activities to help those who are less fortunate. Throughout the year, we hold different events to support the research and care of cancer patients.  Our staff participates in Lee Denim Day; the students wear hats to show their support for children who have lost their hair as a result of chemotherapy treatments on Hats on Day. As our major fundraising project, we will participate in Pennies for Patients. 

Some of our annual Student Council sponsored activities will include the Thanksgiving Food Drive, Senior Citizen Holiday Breakfast and Trick or Treat for Unicef. 

Our goal is always to look further than ourselves and see how one student, when combined with the power of a group, can create positive change.
