Our School

Eastchester High School is a U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon School of Excellence serving approximately 760 students with high-quality academic, athletic, artistic, and cultural programs. Over 90% of our students go on to attend post-secondary institutions, including some of the most competitive colleges and universities in the nation. Some recent graduates have gained acceptance to such prestigious schools as Buckwell, Carnegie Mellon, Columbia, Cornell, Duke, Georgetown, Harvard, MIT and University of Pennsylvania. Eastchester High School is accredited by the New York State Board of Regents and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

Home-School Partnership

Research strongly indicates that students fulfill their full potential when parents are integrally involved in their child’s education. Parents are an essential component of student success because it is the parents who inspire their children and show them the importance of learning. It is for this reason that Eastchester High School attempts to build a strong home-school collaboration. Parents are encouraged to contact their child's teachers, counselor, or administrator during the school year as needed. Additionally, parents are encouraged to become actively involved in the Parent Teacher Organization (PTA) as well as SEPTA, the district wide special education parent-teacher organization.
