What is an E-Zine?

Webopedia, the online computer dictionary for Internet terms describes an ezine:

"Short for electronic magazine, the name for a web site that is modeled after a print magazine. Some e-zines are simply electronic versions of existing print magazines, whereas others exist only in their digital format. Most e-zines are advertiser-supported but a few charge a subscription."

Pablo Journal - The Louvre Test
Pablo Journal issues are sent once a month. "After World War II, Pablo Picasso was asked to donate some works to French museums. As a compensation, he was granted a confrontation of some of his paintings to works of his colleagues in the Louvre, on a day closed to the public. Only very few persons were present. In a kind of ceremony, his works were hung side by side with other works of his choice. Rarely did someone speak. Afterwards, Picasso is to have said: "C'est la même chose!", i.e. it's the same thing: He and the other masters were doing the same, despite of different styles and attitudes. Let's do our own "Louvre Test" right here, being a painter or not, to see what this kind of confrontation can do! Experience known works a new and different due to the new context! Meet two outstanding works of art talking to each other every month! Submit your pairs to delight us!" -from Pablo Journal

Weekly Work - Art and Anecdotes

Curious to learn about how art is seen by an artist? Love to do some artwork yourself, need inspiration? Well, here you are! I'll show you works of mine and tell anecdotes relating to the pictures. Hopefully you will understand what drove me to paint. Why a modern artist does those funny things. What painting may mean. And what to those paintings may mean to you." -from Weekly Work
