BOCES Honors its 2007 Retirees

Southern Westchester BOCES honored its 2007 retirees at a June 6th reception that District Superintendent Ronald L. Smalls called "one of my favorite events of the year."

Autism Speaks -
This team of 30 SWBOCES teachers and families were recently honored by Autism Speaks, a national organization that raises awareness about autism spectrum disorders, for raising more funding than any other service provider during the six years the group has participated in Walk Now for Autism.
Teachers Try Out New Regents Exam -
Science teachers from a number of local school districts had the opportunity to attend a special training session held by Southern Westchester BOCES on administering the revised 2008 Regents Physical Setting/Earth Science Performance Test Part D.
Special Services Names Assistant Director -
Southern Westchester BOCES has named a seasoned White Plains educator as Assistant Director of the BOCES Center for Special Services.
