Getting Started

Accessing and Logging in:

• Type the following address in your browsers address bar:
  
  www.unitedstreaming.com
  
  
• "See your building librarian for login and password information"

Using Unitedstreaming

Searching the database:

The database allows you to search by the following area:

• Keyword
• Subject area
• Topic
• Grade level
• Curriculum standard
• Or available title

• Choose your search criteria by using the dropdown menus
  

Click

to start the search


This will provide you with a list of videos to select from.

Selecting Videos and Clips:

• Select one of the titles that matches your search by clicking on the underlined title.

After selecting a title, choose the following:

• Media type
• Download or stream the clip
• Select the entire program or clip to view

Viewing Videos and Clips without saving (Streaming):

Place your mouse over the

button and click

• The left side of your screen will begin to play the selected clip.

Downloading and Saving Videos and Clips:

Internet Explorer:

Place your mouse over the

button and click

• The following screen will appear

• Select “Save this file to a disk” and click “ok”
• Choose the location where you would like to save the file

• Click the “Save” button
