Career Cruising is an interactive, multimedia career reference guide available on CD-ROM and the Internet.

It features:

1. a world class interest assessment tool
2. in-depth profiles of hundreds of different careers
3. multimedia interviews with real people in each and every career (over 800 interviews in total)
4. career search tools which help users find careers that suit their interests
5. a comprehensive database of 2-year and 4-year colleges, so that users can learn where to get education and training

Career Cruising was created to bridge this gap between young people and the working world. Their aim was to make a career guide that combined in-depth career information with the realism and personal perspective provided by interviews with real people. They also wanted the program to be extremely user-friendly, so that people of all ages and levels of education could benefit from it.
