KINDNESS GARDEN

Watch Our Kindness Garden Grow

Through a collaborative effort between our wonderful PTA and the young leaders of Concord Road, we have created a Kindness Garden. This multi-year plan for the Kindness Garden "bloomed" during the 2005-2006 school year. The garden has been placed outside of the primary level computer lab. Besides being an outdoor classroom, it will also be a garden dedicated to the concept of kindness.

So how will our students add plants and flowers to their Kindness Garden? When students are the recipient of a kind act, they write the act of kindness on a slip of paper. At the end of each week, these kindness slips are collected and tabulated. Then the slips are placed in the kindness jar which is located outside the Psychology/ Guidance offices. The PTA has been generous enough to donate monies for each kindness slip. The accrued monies will be used to purchase plants and flowers for the garden.

When you are in the building please stop by the main hallway in front of the Psychology/Guidance offices to watch our kindness grow.
