Vickie Johnson was born on April 15, 1972 in Shreveport, Louisiana. When she
was in high school VJ won the Louisiana State long jump competition with a 20
foot leap. She went to college at Louisiana Tech and graduated in 1996. Vickie
plays professional basketball for the New York Liberty in the WNBA. VJ was one
of the first draft picks by the Liberty. Her favorite color is red and she like
fried catfish and fries. While she is not playing basketball she likes to spend
time with her mother, Susie, her three brothers and friends, go to movies, and
play tennis.
