Tradesmen in Colonial America

The Colonial period of America's history began when Spanish setters came to live in the colonies in 1565. The period ended when we became the United States of America by defeating the British in the American Revolutionary War. During that time the Colonists had little to export as trading partners with England so they had to make what they needed to survive. Eventually they had enough money to pay those skilled craftsmen to make what they needed. You are about to meet some of these tradesmen. We hope you enjoy visiting this period in our history.
