In 1931, workers laid the cornerstone for the Pocantico Hills Central School. For 77 years this school has educated generations and been the center of our community. We have grown in size, in experience and in meeting the challenges of an ever-changing world. The school is organized into three Houses; Primary, Intermediate, and Middle School. Teachers and students can collaborate within these work groups to share information and resources. Thanksgiving time is here. The days are getting shorter and cooler, and the pace of life is changing as we prepare for holiday feasts and travels, family gatherings, parties, and gifts. What are you thankful for as we enter into the holiday season? Let’s act to share that thankfulness with others. Snuggle with your kids and read aloud. Enjoy a family walk in the brisk fall weather. Write a thank you note to your child’s teacher. Most of all, when holiday stresses overwhelm you, remember your beautiful children who make it all worthwhile!
