December is a Delightful Month

December is a delightful month because there is snow, Christmas and Chanukah, and different types of food.

Snow is glistening outside. My family and I ski. Frosty, clear icicles hang from bare branches. Blowing gently, snowflakes make a blur. The shimmering lake turns to shiny ice.

I enjoy Christmas and Chanukah. Spinning solid wooden dreidles, I get five pieces of gelt as I have a lucky spin. The texture of the Christmas wrapping paper is thin as I shake the box. Paper is flying everywhere as I unwrap my gifts.

Flavors of food blends in my mouth. I have picked up the scent of candy canes. The sugary taste of those hook candies are minty. Also, the chocolate gelt is lip smacking good as I eat a few.

As you can see, Christmas is a delightful month because there is snow, Christmas and Chanukah, and pleasant food.
